These are the principles that distinguish men’s Vela Blu Tennis collection. The kind of elegance being proposed by tennis led to the inspiration of the team that conceived and designed all the garments of the men’s summer collection.
Being a historical sport, born in 1874, it is considered complete and harmonious and it requires excellent physical and mental skills. An aspect that has caught the attention of our stylists is the following one: in order to play a tennis match with maximum comfort, all men’s clothing must be carefully taken care of considering every single detail. Textures, seams, graphics, combination of different types of fabrics and every single aspect play an important role.

Each garment of the men’s collection is sewn in the Vela Blu knitwear factory workshop which is located in Apulia and provides with a wide range of garments offering the opportunity to create complete men’s outfits.
For those who prefer a classic and traditional style, you can combine colour block garments; for those who dare, whimsical patterns create original combinations.

All the fabrics being selected in order to manufacture the entirely made in Italy men’s clothing have been picked out because of their top quality. The stylistic team has selected:
- Pique stretch cotton jersey (90% cotton, 10% elastane)
- V-TECH antibacterial recycled technical fabric
- Crep cotton
- Dyed garments (100% mercerized lisle cotton)
- Cotton lisle piquet

It is the superstretch fabric in 76% recycled nylon and 24% elastomer. It does not need to be ironed and has the characteristic of being breathable and quick-drying. The peculiarity is the anti-bacterial treatment that makes it wearable in every situation.
Dyed garments
Vintage style line, caracterized by garments with worn seams.
Vela Blu dyed garments are made with the best blends of natural dyes, the cold dyeing gives a unique vintage look.
The Polo shirt has very soft hand. Filoscozia yarn allows quick drying and durability never seen before.
It is a very sweet color, reminiscent of the 80s in all its shades: Our Cream dyed color combines wonderfully with the Henley Polo with buttons.
