The family-run company was founded in 1986 in Ruvo di Puglia (Bari), thanks to the entrepreneurial spirit of Biagio Bucci and his wife Filomena and today the company can count on the young and qualified professionalism of the second
generation of the family: Vincenzo and Noemi.

The company has always based its production philosophy on quality textile craftsmanship, on the manual skills of production, research and innovation and even today it can boast the skills of a highly specialized staff that has been working in the cutting and packaging laboratory for over 25 years.
The core business of the company is the Scotland Yarn Polo, emblem of the quality of a wide and versatile range, which is renewed with originality over time and which today offers 5 lines and 92 references in the catalogue.
SKILLS
In addition to the Vela Blu brand, the company offers a wide and diversified private label service, in order to meet the needs of national and international interlocutors. As a matter of fact, the company manages the entire production cycle internally: from design, to cutting, to packaging, ironing and logistics.
The control of the cycle, the speed of the service in processing orders and a production capacity of 500 pieces per day are the guarantee of an efficient, flexible and reliable personalized service.
VISION
The knitwear company operates on the Italian and international market as a third party supplier and boasts important collaborations with major Italian and foreign fashion brands, offering them a highly qualified consultancy service in the design and definition phase of new models.

Digitization of the production process. Thanks to the introduction of cloud technology, everything is within reach of the B2B customer. The expansion of the cutting laboratory and the modelling office perfect the whole production cycle.

The basic line of slim fit yarn t-shirts , with pocket details, embroidery and the strong colours of the stretch piquet polo shirts give a sporty touch to the collection.
